Expandable Baton Techniques Certification $100

The effectiveness you have overcoming a subject using a straight baton (or explaining why it was necessary to use that use of force tool) is based in large measure on the practical knowledge and skills you are taught by an experienced instructor. Utilizing a comprehensive learning and dynamic hands-on curriculum, first-responders will learn how to utilize a straight baton, in direct and/or transitional techniques for overcoming resistance through strikes, jabs or blocks, and establish practical anatomical control over a subject for the purposes of escort and/or handcuffing. Expandable baton techniques can be quickly mastered and performed under stress, including baton-aided subject-control holds such as arm locks.

Practical and Tactical Handcuffing Certification $100

Handcuffs are among the most often used tool by officers, yet training is severely lacking. Studies show that over 67% of resistance by subjects occurs after the first handcuff has been applied. Tactical Handcuffing Training When an Individual becomes uncooperative, handcuffing may the safest course of action for the individual, yourself and for others. The understanding of Safe Handcuffing is the knowing of “when to” and when not to handcuff. The act of handcuffing should not escalate an individual to resist you. This act of restraining someone can quickly become a difficult task for officers. There are individuals who WILL become uncooperative or even combative when being handcuffed. Our tactical handcuffing training courses review the proper protocols of handcuffing, resistive handcuffing and handcuffing techniques when in the Fight.
