Just as a degree or certificate for any job, a MD Handgun permit will put you to into a higher level. This training is by NO means a guarantee of employment with us.<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>If you do not have a Security Agency employer, then we are willing to sponsor your application to MSP as long as you are working for us unarmed while you wait the 90 days it takes for approval.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong><em>Security Guards typically will stand for long periods of time. You will NEED a car for transportation. Professional: For Armed Security Guard, PI, SPO or\u00a0Armored Car. You will need to submit an application\u00a0 (link below) to Maryland State Police and have a &#8220;sponsorship&#8221; letter from a Security Guard Agency. <\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>2. Personal: For personal use,\u00a0lawyers, doctors, business owners, employees, money transportation for business. Your approval is under the\u00a0discretion of the\u00a0MSP. \u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><em>Weapon,\u00a0eye and ear protection\u00a0rental is an additional charge.\u00a0 Ammunition is available for purchase at the range.\u00a0 Students may bring their own handgun, brass-cased ammunition, eye protection and ear protection,\u00a0if desired, to the range only. Please do not bring loaded firearms into the lobby of the range.<\/em><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">NO WALK-INS ALLOWED &#8211; Preregistration and prepayment is required for everyone attending this class. Failure to attend scheduled training will forfeit tuition paid.
